Kickstarter, the website that helps people find financial backers for their creative projects. Now that I'm currently freelancing for a living, I thought it was a good time to give Kickstarter a try. So read about my memoir project

I just found the Kickstarter project and read the first chapter, and I'm kind of interested in reading the book, but I can't really contribute to it. Would it be possible for you to do a smaller production at first? I feel that with such a niche audience, and one made even smaller by the fact that some LDS would probably be unwilling to actually read literature about leaving the Church, even temporarily. I could possibly contribute on a smaller level, but I don't see you reaching a $10,000 goal anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteIt's only $9,999, Dennis, not $10,000. That's what it would take for me to fast-track this with a deadline. It doesn't hurt to try... Otherwise, I'll just continue to dick around with it in my spare time, like I have the past several years. And I don't intend it only for, and perhaps not even primarily for, LDS readers.
