President Hinckley Adds Moon to Itinerary

SALT LAKE CITY--On the heels of the recent announcement of President Hinckley's 13-city, four-continent, round-the-world tour, the Church has announced that, through a special partnership with NASA, President Hinckley will soon become the first LDS president to walk on the moon.

"NASA has long wanted to get back to the moon, and the Church has made it possible through generous funding," said spokesman Carl Nugent. "We wouldn't normally allow a 95-year-old to join the expedition, but our tests show that Mr. Hinckley possesses the strength and stamina of a much younger man."

Church sources say that one of President Hinckley's primary objectives in visiting the moon is to scout out a location for a forthcoming temple.

Your post isn't funny! Making fun of a prophet (who is not going to the moon for those of you less informed) is no laughing matter!
