What time did you get up this morning? 6:30 a.m. to do the treadmill

What was the last film you saw at the cinema? Pan’s Labyrinth

What is your favorite TV show? Don’t regularly watch any, but I love The Simpsons and have very much enjoyed the few episodes I've seen of Arrested Development, The Office, and Seinfeld.

What did you have for breakfast? A 32-ounce Coke

What is your middle name? Kimball

What is your favorite cuisine? Asian (hard to narrow it down from there, because I love Indian, Japanese, Thai, Chinese, etc.)

What foods do you dislike? Bananas, coconut, raisins

What is your favorite chip? I often get Sour Cream & Cheddar Ruffles but also like many others

What is your favorite CD at the moment? Emergency & I, by The Dismemberment Plan

What kind of car do you drive? Honda Civic

What is your favorite sandwich? Homemade tuna

What characteristics do you despise? Beyond the obvious evil ones, I have a hard time with people who take things too seriously

What are your favorite clothes? Just plain garments, or jeans, a T-shirt, and sandals

Where would you go if you could go anywhere in the world on vacation? Hong Kong (I’ve never been to Europe and sort of wouldn’t know where to start…)

Favorite brand of clothing? I rarely buy clothes and am not very brand conscious

Where would you want to retire? A big city with lots of personality, visually appealing architecture and urban vistas, and cultural opportunities (in other words, definitely not Provo, Utah, where I live now)

Favorite time of day? I love going out to lunch

What is your favorite sport to watch? Don’t enjoy any

Pepsi or Coke? Coke but will also drink Pepsi

Are you a morning person or a night owl? More of a night person, but as I get older I can’t stay up as late or sleep in as late anymore.

What did you want to be when you were little? I think I saw myself as being some kind of businessman like my dad

What is your best childhood memory? Spending time at the beach near our home in California, taking the bus with friends to downtown Salt Lake City for the day, playing Dungeons & Dragons

Piercing? My left ear, and I could still stick one in if I really wanted to

Ever been to Africa? No

Ever been toilet papering? Yes, when I was a kid

Been in a car accident? Only a handful of minor fender benders, the worst one just about a year ago

Favorite day of the week? Friday or Saturday

Favorite restaurant? Bombay House

Favorite ice cream? Mint chip, or coffee with Oreo when I lived in Boston

Favorite fast food restaurant? Panda Express, because I like the orange chicken and can feel virtuous by ordering veggies as my other choice

Which store would you choose to max out your credit card? Costco

Bedtime? Between 10:30 and 11:30

Last person you went out to dinner with? Nearly my whole family at Crown Burger (wife and kids, parents, five out of nine siblings and some of their spouses and kids)

How many tattoos do you have? A few tiny bluish marks to guide the radiation treatments I had for my Hodgkin’s disease
